The user focuses on a cube on a laptop display and uses the cube to give visualization to the cars steering. Currently, the researchers are working on accelerating with thought control, and they do acknowledge a slight delay from the time the action is thought and executed. Regardless, this is definitely some cool emerging technology to look out for!
